Mischievous elf!
There’s nothing like a naughty elf to put a bit of magic into the advent season. So, why not welcome your favourite festive visitor into your home with our Elves Behavin’ Badly range.
Top tip: Give your elf a name so it’s more personal for the kids.
Here’s our tips for things you can do with your elves on each day of the week:

A great way to bring the elves to life is by using crafts to set the scene. Use items such as strings and command hooks to position the elves in high places.
Festive reading
We think a great way to keep the kids busy during the advent season is by reading? That’s right, books!
There are lots of exciting stories and they can choose a festive book for each day of advent. Children love a story at bedtime and it’s a fab way to count down the days to Christmas.
The perfect way to present this is as Christmas presents and treat it like an advent calendar. 24 days, 24 books (or individual stories). Wrap each one individually and number them 1-24 and allow the kids to open one a day.
Top tip – store these in a Christmas gift box or wicker basket for that extra magic feeling.
Deck the halls... and bedrooms!
Here’s a great idea to make advent super magical for the kids and it’s easy to do! Put some Christmas decorations in their bedrooms as well as the usual rooms downstairs. We think they’ll love waking up in their own mini Santa’s grotto!
Things to use to decorate the kid’s room for Christmas:
- Christmas bedding
- Fairy lights
- Mini Christmas Tree
- Baubles
