Fast-growing annual gypsophyilla are perfect for providing flowers that are useful as a foil to larger blooms both in the garden and as a cut flower for indoor arrangements. Gypsophila has glaucous, light green leaves and open, airy clusters of small white, sometimes veined, flowers with rounded petals. Plant as instructed on the package for the best yield. Flowering height: 28inch/70cm. Planting guide: When to plant - February to May. How far apart - Plant - 10"/25cm. Soil requirement - Tolerant to all well-drained garden soils. A sandy chalky soil is preferred. How to plant: Position the plant in full sun. Flowering height - 28"/70cm. Planting depth - 6"/15cm. Flowering time - July to September. Care guide - Staking is recommended to support stems. Put several sticks around the plant when the shoots are young and tie the stems at different heights during growth. Protect roots during winter. Remove faded flowers to encourage repeat blooming.
