The battery cover is located at the bottom of the product. The product can be operated by switching the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. To replace batteries, switch the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position, remove the retaining screw with an appropriate screwdriver (not supplied), and open the battery cover. Remove the old batteries and dispose of them safely. Insert new batteries into the compartment ensuring, the '+' positive pole of batteries are placed as markings shown. Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw it back in place. This product is covered by the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations.
