These intense steel blue orbs on straight 2-foot stems display wonderful backdrops for flowers. Provide good drainage during winters. Flowering height: 32inch/80cm. Planting guide - When to plant - February to May. How far apart - Plant - 10"/25cm. Soil requirement - Well-drained soil with a good supply of organic matter. Leaf mould, manure or compost can be used to enrich the soil with organic matter. How to plant: Position the plant in full sun. Flowering height - 32"/80cm. Planting depth - 4"/10cm. Flowering time - June to September. Care guide - Fully hardy. Plants may be trimmed to the ground in late fall. Echinops should be divided every 3 to 4 years. Attractive to bees and butterflies.
