The Johnsons Blue Victoria Salvia Seeds grow into neatly rounded plants with intensely coloured and long-lasting flower spikes. This a great choice of flowers to attract butterflies to your garden. The long-lasting spikes are ideal for flower arrangements. Indoor sowing: January to March, in trays of seed compost. Sow thinly and cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at approximately 20 to 25 degrees Celsius. Seedlings appear in 14 to 28 days. Remove the cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Stand outside for a few days in late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed-free. Flowers: June to October, of the same year.
