A dwarf selection of this uniquely fragrant and aromatic herb. Just right for patio containers or year-round crops indoors on a windowsill. Indoor sowing: All year round, for pots indoors, in pots or trays of moist compost. Sow thinly, and cover lightly with compost. Firm gently. Cover with clear glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at 15-20ºC and keep moist. Seedlings appear in 14-21 days. Transplant them into 15cm pots of compost, and place them in a light, airy location. Harvest all year round. Pick the leaves as required. Outdoor Sowing: May-June, in growing position. Sow thinly, and cover lightly with fine soil. When large enough thin as necessary, spacing 20cm apart. Pick leaves as required from June-November. Pick seed heads when light brown (outdoor crops only). After drying, shake out the seeds and store them in an airtight container.
