A favourite among flowering plants, the Johnsons Dianthus Chinensis Chianti Seeds will add scent and colour to your garden. A short-lived perennial, it is usually grown as an annual. The Dianthus Chinensis can be grown in beds, borders and containers to make the most of the eye-catching display. Indoor Sowing: February to March, in trays of moist compost. Sow thinly, and cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at 15-20°C. Keep moist. Remove the cover when seedlings appear. When large enough, transplant 5cm apart in trays. Grow on at 15°C. Stand outside for a few days in late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position in June.
