Everyday household and garden retailer, wilko, celebrated its new store opening in Poole, Dorset today [16th August], welcoming queues of eager customers waiting to get their hands on the brand’s much-loved products.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the opening, and the first 50 customers in line were treated to goody bags filled with some of wilko’s top-rated products.
Spanning 23,500 square feet, the new Poole store offers customers everything they need to undertake home and garden projects at affordable price points, stocking a selection of wilko’s great-value own-brand products alongside popular named brands.
Customers will also be able to browse and order from the 100,000 items available via the re-launched wilko.com using self-service terminals for home delivery.
Shoppers visiting the Dolphin Centre store can also browse and order from over 100,000 items available on wilko.com via self-service terminals, with home delivery options available. Click & Collect will also be available at the Poole store, so shoppers can choose from over 30,000 products online and collect in as little as one hour.
The store also hosts a range of Iceland’s frozen food products, providing customers with the convenience of picking up great-value meals alongside their home and garden purchases.
The Poole store opening comes ahead of a further national roll-out, with more locations to be announced soon. It’s the brand’s latest concept store, joining recent openings in Exeter, Luton, Plymouth, St Albans and Rotherham.
