Our Basil Sweet Seeds are a classic Mediterranean favourite with a delicious mild aniseed flavour. The plants produce high yields of large, tender leaves and are an essential addition to the kitchen garden or mixed patio pots. Lovely in salads and a perfect choice for Mediterranean dishes, salads, soups, pesto and sauces. An annual herb. Sow indoors all year round for crops on a windowsill or from March to May to plant outside. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in patio pots or a herb garden from May to June. Outdoor crops are ready to harvest from June onwards. The average pack contains 450 seeds.
