Perfect for shady areas, these planting bulbs grow well under deciduous trees, in borders and as a ground cover. Plant between February to May for the best results. Planting guide - When to plant - February to May. How far apart - Plant - 10"/25cm. Soil requirement - A wide range of soil is suited for growing, but the plant thrives best in well-drained, moist soil high in organic matter. How to plant: Position the plant in the shade. Flowering height - 20"/50cm. Planting depth - 1"/3cm. Flowering time - June to August. Care guide - Plant the root close to the soil surface. Once established, the plant needs little care. They can be left undisturbed for years and are extremely long-living. Please note the bulbs are bound tightly with an elastic band, once removed the bundle splits into three.
