- Excellent ground cover and attractive edging plant
- Ideal for dry, sunny, and coastal garden locations
- Drought tolerant and thrives in full sun for low-maintenance
Evening primrose 'Pink Petticoats' brings a cascade of delicate shell pink blooms with striking white centres and darker pink veins, creating a soft, fragrant display from June to September. Thriving in hot, sunny borders and poor, well-drained soil, this hardy perennial is perfect for gardeners seeking easy-care colour and pollinator appeal. Its spreading habit makes it an excellent choice for ground cover, edging paths or tumbling over containers, while its drought tolerance and minimal maintenance needs suit both traditional and coastal gardens. Simply remove spent stems to keep growth lush and tidy and enjoy the cheerful presence of bees and butterflies.
