Strawberry Honeoye is a hardy perennial that produces firm, flavoursome red fruits from June to July. This variety produces heavy cropping mid-season with excellent disease resistance. This variety is perfect for growing in containers. Cropping periods can be brought forward or extended if grown in a polytunnel or greenhouse. This variety is perfect for making your own jams or for freezing to enjoy when out of season. Height 20cm (8”) and spread 30cm (12”). The estimated time to cropping once planted is four to eight months. Estimated time to best yields is 16-20 months.
