Each plant arrives in a handy 9cm pot, ready to thrive in beds, patio pots or even hanging baskets, giving gardeners of all levels a chance to enjoy juicy strawberries across the season. This collection contains three carefully selected varieties – Allegro, Flamenco, and Vibrant – providing an extended cropping season so you can enjoy fresh, sweet strawberries well past the end of summer. Strawberry ‘Allegro’ is a very early season variety that copes well with poorer soils and small spaces, showing strong resistance to soil-borne diseases, botrytis, and mildew. Strawberry ‘Flamenco’ is ever-bearing, producing sweet fruit from mid-May to November, ideal where space is limited. Strawberry ‘Vibrant’ is an early season variety that produces large, high-quality fruit in succession and provides a second crop from the second year onwards. Growing Instructions: Plant strawberries in autumn or late spring in a sunny, sheltered position with well-manured, free-draining soil. Space plants 45cm apart in rows 75cm apart. Avoid planting too deeply to prevent rot. For containers or hanging baskets, feed every two weeks. Water regularly during the growing season and weed between rows. Remove runners early in summer to maintain plant vigour. Protect developing fruit from slugs, snails, and birds with straw and netting as needed, removing after cropping to improve airflow. Apply mulch of well-rotted manure in spring. For best results, replace plants every three years as yields decline over time.
