Bring a touch of drama to your garden with Thompson and Morgan Iris Louisiana Black Gamecock Plant Pot 9cm 2 Pack. Its striking violet-black blooms rise above lush strap-like foliage, creating a bold statement from late spring to midsummer. Perfect for boggy borders or pond edges, this hardy perennial thrives in consistently moist soil and add both colour and structure wherever it's planted. Whether massed together for impact or used as a unique focal point, you'll find its elegant flowers are also ideal for cutting and bringing indoors. Easy to care for, it simply needs a sunny or semi-shaded spot and regular moisture to flourish. Growing Instructions: Plant in fertile, damp, acid or neutral soil enriched with well-rotted organic matter. Position in full sun or semi-shade. Suitable for boggy borders or shallow pond margins with the crown up to 20cm below water level. Keep soil consistently moist, watering during dry periods. Divide overcrowded clumps in autumn after flowering. Mulch around the base in spring to retain moisture. Cut back pond-grown plants to just above the water surface in autumn. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g., deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
