Bring a striking burst of deep violet-black blooms with Thompson and Morgan Iris Louisiana Black Gamecock Plant Pot 9cm 3 Pack, making it a standout choice for boggy borders or pond edges where bold colour and vertical structure are needed. Flowering from May to July, its elegant petals rise above dense strap-like foliage, creating a dramatic focal point that thrives in consistently moist soil and bright or lightly shaded spots. Perfect for mass planting or as eye-catching cut flowers, these hardy perennials are easy to maintain and offer lasting beauty season after season. How to Grow: Plant in fertile, damp, acid or neutral soil enriched with well-rotted organic matter. Position in full sun or semi-shade. Suitable for boggy borders or shallow pond margins with the crown up to 20cm below water level. Keep soil consistently moist, watering during dry periods. Divide overcrowded clumps in autumn after flowering. Mulch around the base in spring to retain moisture. Cut back pond-grown plants to just above the water surface in autumn. Image may be included for illustration of supply, but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months). Decorative pots are not supplied.
