Product Information

  • Fragrant springtime blossoms
  • Great for juice, jams and cooking
  • Ideal for patios or conservatories
Glossy evergreen foliage provides an attractive backdrop for clusters of fragrant, waxy blossoms in spring. These mini trees are perfect features for a conservatory or a well-lit windowsill and can be moved outside to a warm patio during summer. Ideal for a warm conservatory, citrus trees will eventually produce fruit that is high in vitamin C. The fruits are great for making juices, jams, and chutneys, making them a valuable ingredient for cooking and baking. You can also freeze the whole fruit to use like an ice cube. Additionally, the vibrant fruits offer an appealing ornamental display. To plant, use a container or pot filled with a mix of ericaceous compost and neutral, soil-based compost such as John Innes No. 3. When repotting, maintain the plant at its original soil level and ensure it is firmly settled in the new container. Water thoroughly and place the pot in a well-lit area, away from cold draughts and radiators (ideally between 4-12°C); a conservatory is the best location. Once all risk of frost has passed, you can move the plants outside from May to October. Water them generously in the summer and mist the leaves daily to increase humidity and deter pests. Feed the plants with citrus plant fertilizer every two weeks. Before the onset of frost, remember to move the plants back indoors. In winter, reduce watering, but do not allow the plant to dry out completely, as either overwatering or underwatering can cause the fruits to drop. This set includes one each of the following: Lime (Citrus) Tree in a 9cm pot, Lemon (Citrus) Tree in a 9cm pot, and Orange (Citrus) Tree in a 9cm pot. Please note that images are for guidance and the expected results may vary based on different growing conditions.
