Product Information

  • Self-fertile sweet dessert cherry
  • Grows up to 2.5m tall and wide
  • Ideal for sunny, well-drained soil
This is Britain’s best known dessert Cherry that produces masses of firm, red, sweet fruits that are great as a dessert fruit. It is originally a Canadian variety. This is a self-fertile variety so a pollinating partner is not required. Plant your cherry trees in any well drained, soil, in a sheltered sunny position. To get the best out of your fruit tree, make sure that lots of well-rotted manure or garden compost is mixed into the hole, prior to planting, and put in a stake to support the tree. Water well until established. This tree can also be planted in a big pot, filled with soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.This fruit tree has been accredited as an RHS Plants for Pollinators. Product Specifications: Position: FULL SUN or SEMI SHADE Height: Up to 250cm (98.4”) Spread: Up to 250cm (98.4”) Supplied as 1 x 5 Litre Pot Delivered with growing and care instructions.
