  • Heavy cropper yields up to 3.6kg of fruit per plant
  • Perfect for late summer through autumn berry harvests
Create your own natural escape with the Thompson and Morgan Blackberry Loch Ness Plant Pot 2L 2 Pack. Bring home the joy of effortless fruit picking with compact, thornless blackberry plants that thrive in containers or smaller gardens, delivering glossy-black conical fruits bursting with flavour from mid-August right through to the first frosts. Upright, easy-to-manage growth and thorn-free stems mean you’ll enjoy pain-free harvesting, while each plant rewards you with heavy crops of up to 3.6kg of delicious berries, perfect for fresh snacking or transforming into jams and bakes. Designed for both practicality and pleasure, these container-grown bushes offer a stronger start than field-grown stock and are self-fertile, hardy and ideal for sunny, sheltered spots with free-draining soil. Just train the canes onto supports, keep them well watered, and a bountiful harvest awaits. How to Grow: Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot with fertile, free-draining soil. Train the thornless stems onto wires or trellis supports. Keep plants well watered during establishment and apply a mulch in spring to retain moisture. After cropping, prune back fruiting canes to ground level and tie in the new growth. Netting is recommended to protect ripening fruits from birds. Self-fertile and hardy, Loch Ness is both practical and rewarding. Height: 2m (6'). Spread: 2.5m (8'). Time to cropping: 16–20 months. Time to best yields: 28–32 months. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary the results. Image may be included for illustration of supply, but can vary due to seasonality changes, for example, deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months. Decorative pots are not supplied.
