Next up, take a look at the handles – rubberised grips are comfortable and won’t get hot, but you’ll want a metal handle if you’re planning on using your saucepan in the oven too.

Cooking with Saucepans

There are so many things you can use a saucepan for; that’s why they’re so popular! Try using yours to make some poached eggs for breakfast, a tasty soup for lunch, or cook some rice or pasta for a quick evening meal. Be sure not to use anything too abrasive when washing up your pans, especially if it’s non-stick, as you could damage the finish. Alternatively, there are saucepans which are dishwasher safe so you don’t have to worry!
