An outdoor heater powered by gas has the benefit of being portable, so you could put it anywhere you like in your garden. Some options also use a flame effect which can make a real impact when used on the patio, great for sitting around and letting conversations flow.

Are outdoor heaters expensive to run?

The cost of running your outdoor heater depends on lots of things, including the size of your heater, the length of time it runs for, and how it’s powered. A tabletop electric heater will use less energy than a large, freestanding one, but will need to work harder to create the same heat. Remembering to only use it when it’s needed is your best bet for saving energy.
