Bringing year-round interest and texture, this perennial thrives in borders, beneath shrubs or in containers, offering an easy way to add lasting colour to tricky shady spots. With award-winning foliage and low-maintenance care, you’ll find it a rewarding choice for both new and experienced gardeners. How to Grow: Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soil amended with compost or well-rotted manure if necessary. Avoid very dry or waterlogged conditions. Position in full sun or semi-shade. Mulch to retain moisture and reduce weeds. Water regularly during dry periods. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigour. Remove dead leaves and flower stems to encourage new growth and prolong flowering. Images shown are for guidance only and show the expected results of plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary the results.
