Commonly known as the ‘False Sunflower’, these herbaceous, hardy perennials form in clumps, whether planted in pots, beds, or borders. Producing large, golden-yellow blooms, these plants flower for months from summer to autumn, each boasting a characteristic dark red eye. Moreover, these flowers are a delight for attracting friendly pollinators, thanks to the mass of nectar produced, leaving any garden teeming with buzzing wildlife during the warm months. Recommended by the RHS as a 'plant for pollinators', the flowers are produced through the summer and are a favourite with butterflies and bees.
