Elevate your gardens with our Hardy Hosta Collection. Also known as Plantain Lilies, Hostas are great for filling gaps in beds and borders, and they look fabulous in patio pots and containers separately for a more formal look. Their attractive foliage adds interest all year round and their stunning, often fragrant flowers are a great bonus in the summer. They love the sun but perform just as well in a dappled shade making a great choice for planting underneath trees and shrubs acting as great groundcover plants. This collection provides a good mix of colours to give the best display in your garden, whether in the border or pots. The included varieties are Hosta Blue Angel, Hosta fortunei var. albopicta and Hosta Wide Brim. The Hosta Blue Angel forms a clump of wavy-edged, large blue-grey leaves. Its bell-shaped pale lavender-white blooms are produced in June and this is one of the most largest and reliable varieties of blue Hostas. This plant grows approximately 75 to 80cm tall and 90 to 120cm wide. The Hosta fortunei var. albopicta has broad, creamy-yellow, heart-shaped leaves with contrasting green margins. Its mauve blooms are borne on leafy stems in July. This plant grows approximately 45 to 55cm tall and 80 to 100cm wide. Lastly, the Hosta Wide Brim forms heart-shaped, puckered dark green-blue leaves with a cream margin. Its pale lavender flowers bloom from June to July. This plant grows approximately 40 to 45cm tall and 80 to 100cm wide. These plants are supplied as three established plants in 9cm pots.
