Product Information

  • Features attractive burgundy and apricot coloured leaves
  • Plant between March to October
  • Supplied in a pot
The wilko Cordyline ‘Charlie Boy' is a plant with burgundy-and-apricot-coloured leaves that is perfect for the patio due to its compact size and evergreen foliage. As it grows, it will develop a unique shape with its string stem becoming more prominent as the older leaves at the bottom fall off. Cordylines are easy to grow and require minimal maintenance. Pruning is only necessary to remove any dead leaves in the spring. While they can withstand temperatures as low as -7 degree Celsius, it is recommended to provide frost protection using fleeces or by bringing the plant indoors during the coldest months. During the summer, it is best to plant the Cordyline in a pot and keep it outside. In winter, it should be moved to a protected space such as a greenhouse or conservatory. As the plant matures, it becomes more resistant to frost and can be left outside in all but the harshest weather conditions. Supplied as an established plant in a 17cm pot, ready to be planted. It is approximately 40 to 60cm tall and can be potted on or planted out. Please note that the height of the delivered plant may vary depending on the time of year. The given height includes the height of the growing container.
