As the plant develops, the stems intermingle, creating an intriguing mixed-colour effect. Retaining their attraction to butterflies, you can look forward to peacocks and tortoiseshell butterflies visiting your garden for years. This Buddleia is one of the most robust and easy-care shrubs to grow, requiring almost no maintenance. Cut back to about 30cm each spring before new leaves appear. It is very hardy and disease-free and should be grown in sunny spots or large pots. It is supplied as an established plant in a 2L pot. Please note that the height of the delivered plant will vary with the time of year; therefore, 'as supplied' images are an indication only. All heights given include the height of the growing container. It grows to H120 x W100cm, and you can plant it from March to November and flower it from July to August while avoiding waterlogging and frozen soil.
