Get that plumbing job done in no time with our bottom entry ball valve. Essential for both DIY and professional plumbers, the ball valve is ideal as a replacement for a worn or damaged toilet valve to stop the continuous filling of water. Easy to fit, it is ideal for replacing worn and damaged toilet valves. Directions for use: Close the toilet seat lid to ensure you do not drop any components into the toilet. Turn off the water to the cistern. Flush the toilet to remove residue of water from the cistern. After flushing, there may be some water still left in the cistern so take care of water spillage by removing any remaining water. Disconnect the water supply pipe from the tail of the ball valve. Unscrew the ball valve retaining nut and remove the ball valve. Remove the float and fit it into the new ball valve. Fit the new ball valve by reversing the above procedure. Ensure the diverter is firmly attached to the top of the new ball valve and directed into the cistern. Adjust the screw located on the top of the ball valve arm. Initially, set the ball valve arm 12mm (1/2inch) below the marked water line to allow for bedding in of diaphragm. If installing a bottom entry valve, use the longer screw on the valve body to brace the valve against the side of the cistern. The rubber stopper should touch the side with the valve staying upright. Turn the water back on to the cistern. Flush to ensure correctly installed.
