Thompson and Morgan Zinnia Elegans Forecast Seeds

Experience lushness with the fabulous Thompson and Morgan Zinnia Elegans Forecast Seeds. Zinnia seeds can be directly sown outdoors from April to May, once the soil has warmed sufficiently. Selecting a well-drained, moist location in full sun and preparing the soil to a fine tilth are essential steps. Sow seeds thinly at a depth of 3mm in drills spaced 30cm apart and maintain regular watering, particularly during dry spells. Germination typically occurs within 7 to 14 days. As the zinnia seedlings grow, thin them out to 23cm apart for optimal development. Alternatively, for those choosing to sow indoors, doing so from March to April at a temperature range of 15 to 25°C ensures effective germination. Keeping the compost surface moist while allowing light to penetrate is important for seedling success. Once established, transplanting the seedlings into cooler conditions is recommended. Before moving zinnia plants outdoors, gradually acclimatising them for 10 to 15 days after all risk of frost has passed is crucial. Product Specifications indicate this variety as a hardy annual, needing full sun, reaching a height of up to 80cm, and spreading up to 30cm. Supplied as a packet containing 40 seeds of Zinnia Forecast, these plants promise a delightful addition to any garden.
