This Viburnum is also ‘sterile’ meaning it does not produce berries. It is recommended that you grow snowball shrubs in any moist, well-drained soil with full sun exposure or partial shade. This plant shouldn’t have much trouble when exposed to coastal areas too. After flowering established specimens should be pruned by removing 1 in 5 of the oldest branches to the base.
