How to Grow: Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn in moist, well-drained soil. Choose a sunny position sheltered from strong winds and avoid particularly wet areas. Plant bulbs approximately 15cm deep and 13cm apart. Avoid shallow planting as tulips require a period of winter cold to flower successfully in spring. After flowering, deadhead the faded flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer.
