Flaunt layers of ruffled petals in deep red and golden yellow that make garden beds and containers pop with Thompson and Morgan Tulip El Cid Dubbel Red and Golden Yellow Planting Bulb 16 Pack. Growing up to 55cm tall, their strong stems hold generous double flowers that bring drama to borders and patio pots, while their unusual flame-like appearance adds flair to cut flower displays. Plant these hardy bulbs in late summer or autumn for a rich spring show and enjoy easy care—just deadhead after flowering and let the foliage die back naturally. How to Grow: Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn in moist, well-drained soil, avoiding particularly wet areas. Choose a sunny position sheltered from strong winds. Plant bulbs approximately 15cm deep and 13cm apart. Avoid shallow planting as tulips require a period of winter cold to flower successfully in spring. After flowering, deadhead the faded flowers and allow the foliage to die back naturally before removing it.
