Plant in groups for a bold spring display or cut a few stems for a sophisticated indoor arrangement, and enjoy the easy-care nature and vibrant impact these bulbs offer. Supplied with full growing and care instructions, they're ideal for adding early colour to any sunny spot. Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. However, some people have had strong allergic reactions to Tulip flowers. If touching them causes a rash, numbness, etc., then Tulip flowers should not be eaten. Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well-drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs, avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 15cm and at a distance of 13cm apart. After flowering, deadhead the faded tulip flowers and allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in summer. Caution: Tulip bulbs are an irritant to skin and eyes, and are harmful if eaten. Product Specifications: Position: Full Sun. Height: Up to 45cm. Spread: Up to 10cm. Delivered with growing and care instructions. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results.
