Thompson & Morgan Tropaeolum Majus Orchid Flame 20 Seeds Packet

Experience the joy of gardening with the Thompson & Morgan Tropaeolum Majus Orchid Flame 20 Seeds Packet. This unique flower not only resembles exotic orchids but also changes colour throughout the growing season. Initially blossoming in red with yellow splashes, the yellow markings gradually expand across the petals, resulting in distinct patterns until the flower is entirely yellow. Each bloom is unique, making it an intriguing addition to any garden. For best results, sow outdoors where they are to flower. Proper ground preparation is essential; rake until the soil is fine and crumbly, removing any large stones. Sow the seeds 20mm (3/4 inch) deep in rows spaced 30cm (12 inches) apart, or scatter seeds in beds as a gap filler and lightly cover. Once seedlings are robust enough to handle, thin them to approximately 23cm (9 inches) apart. Regular watering is necessary until the plants are fully established. While easy to grow, established nasturtiums require minimal attention. Supplied as one packet of 20 seeds, detailed growing and care instructions accompany the seeds. Images are a representation of expected plant maturity; results may vary based on growing conditions and seasonal changes.
