Product Information

  • Grows 2.5m with vibrant cherry-red blooms
  • Fragrant, perfect for borders or pathways
  • Requires full sun or partial shade with 60cm spread
This vibrant cherry-red Tree Lily ‘Miss Feya’ brings an exotic touch to any planting scheme. A cross between a trumpet and Oriental lily (Orienpet), this stunning variety produces multiple large blooms per stem with a fabulous heady fragrance. A truly impressive hardy plant which returns every year, once mature they can produce up to 30 flowers per plant on stems which tower up to 2.5m tall. Over the years the bulb will produce multiple stems and form a bushy, shrub like habit. Enjoying a sunny position with cool soil, this is the perfect choice for planting at the back of a border or along pathways to greet your guests. Oriental lilies prefer a moist, free draining, neutral to acid soil that is rich in organic matter. Prior to planting, add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil to give your lilies the best start. When growing lilies in containers, use a loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Lily bulbs should be planted at a depth of approximately 3 times their own height and 15cm (6") apart. Planting deeply helps to protect the bulb during particularly hot periods. Choose a sheltered, sunny position where lilies will grow with their heads in the sun and their roots in the shade. Position: Full Sun/Partial Shade Height: Up to 2.5m when fully established Spread: Up to 60cm when fully established Supplied as 3 x Tree Lily ‘Miss Feya’ bulbs Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
