  • Pack contains 5 seeds with growing instructions included
  • Ideal for patio containers kitchen gardens and greenhouses
Bring a burst of flavour and colour to your patio or kitchen garden with Thompson & Morgan Tomato Losetto F1 Hybrid Seeds that thrive in containers and baskets, producing sweet juicy fruits from mid-summer to early autumn. Tomato 'Losetto' shines as a half-hardy, high-yield outdoor variety, perfect for sunny spots or greenhouses, and is ideal for gardeners seeking blight resistant tomato seeds for gardens. With a dwarf bush habit reaching up to 30cm high and wide, there's no need for staking or side shooting, making care simple and rewarding. Each pack contains five seeds and comes with clear growing and care instructions so you can enjoy a productive harvest season after season. How to grow: For greenhouse cultivation: sow from February to March. For outdoor cultivation: sow from March to April. Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp seed sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a constant temperature of around 15–20C (59–68F) until after germination, which takes seven to 14 days. When seedlings develop two true leaves, transplant into individual 7.5cm (3") pots of compost and grow on at a minimum temperature of 15C (59F). Water tomato plants frequently to keep the compost evenly moist, and feed regularly with a high potash plant food once the first truss of fruit has formed. Dwarf bush varieties do not require staking or side shooting. Tomatoes can be harvested as they ripen from July to September. Ideal for: Patio, Kitchen Garden, Greenhouse, Conservatory. Supplied as a packet of 5 seeds.
