Thompson & Morgan Thunbergia Alata Superstar Orange Seeds

Bright orange blooms with striking black eyes instantly lift any garden space as Thompson & Morgan Thunbergia Alata Superstar Orange Seeds brings a burst of colour to containers, trellises or sunny fences, creating a cheerful display that climbs up to 180cm. Easy to sow from February to April, you'll find germination simple with just a little warmth and light, and the compact packet of 12 seeds offers a rewarding project for gardeners at any level. As a half hardy annual, Thunbergia loves full sun and adds vibrant charm wherever it's planted, making it a fantastic choice for those looking to enhance their outdoor haven. How to grow: Sow February to April into pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a 6mm (1/4 inch) layer of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place and keep at a constant temperature of between 20-25C (68-77F). After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged, germination will usually take 14-21 days. Additionally a mid summer sowing will produce winter/spring flowering plants in the cool greenhouse. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3 inch) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost (12 inch) apart. Product Specifications: Half Hardy Annual. Position: full sun.
