- Trio of fragrant, rare lilac varieties
- Perfect for sunny borders or containers
- Gorgeous cut flowers with sweet perfume
This elegant collection contains three stunning but less common Lilacs grown here in the UK. With their sweet perfume and late spring blooms, Lilacs are a gardener's favourite. Perfect for growing in sunny borders, these are easy to grow and will also look fabulous as cut flowers. Grow lilac plants in rich, fertile, well-drained, neutral or alkaline soil in full sun. Dwarf Lilac plants may be grown in containers if preferred, using a loam-based compost such as John Innes No.3. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Prune lilac bushes in winter or spring by removing any damaged, diseased or misplaced stems before lightly shaping the remaining stems. After pruning, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the hardy shrub. Position: borders. Height: Up to 350cm (138 inches) when fully established. Spread: Up to 350cm (138 inches) when fully established. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
