Thompson and Morgan Sweet Pea Scent Infusion Premium Multisown Plug Plant 6 Pack

This hand-selected blend of blue, pink, and cream Sweet Peas combines the traditional pastel shades and fantastic fragrance of sweet peas with the benefit of long, rigid stems that come from modern breeding. This Scent Infusion mix provides the best of both worlds, making it a wonderful garden variety as well as one to enjoy in a vase. Provide them with a trellis or obelisk and let them twine their way to the top, producing masses of blooms from early summer onwards. Pick the flowers daily to encourage more to grow and extend the season. With such a wonderful sweet fragrance, you can never have too many for showing off around the home. Pot up and grow sweet pea plants on in cool, bright conditions until large enough to transplant outdoors. Pinch out the growing tips of sweet pea plants while they are still small to encourage bushy growth. When plants are well grown, transplant them outdoors into any fertile, well-drained garden soil in full sun or semi-shade. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. When growing sweet peas, it is essential to cut the flower stems frequently and deadhead faded blooms to prevent seed pods from developing. This will encourage more blooms to be produced and extend the flowering period throughout summer.
