An outstanding cordon-grown golden orange cherry tomato. The Sungold is so sweet and delicious you will want to pick and eat the fruit straight from the plant while they are still warm! They have a high sugar content and children will love them. Winning the best in class award for flavour it is easy to see why! Yields are high and they will continue to crop well into the winter in a cool greenhouse! If you are limited in space and choice then this is a must! For greenhouse cultivation: sow from February to April. For outdoor cultivation: sow from March to April. Sow seeds on the surface of a good, free-draining, damp, seed sowing mix and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place seed trays in a propagator at a constant temperature of around 1520C 5968F until after germination, which takes 714 days. When seedlings gain 2 true leaves, transplant them into individual 7.5cm 3inches pots of compost and grow on at a minimum temperature of 15C 59F. When growing in a glasshouse tomato plants may be transplanted at the end of May or when the first flowers are showing, if earlier. Allow 3 plants per grow bag, or one per 25cm 10inches pot, or plant tomatoes directly into the greenhouse soil.
