Thompson and Morgan Sunflower Helios Flame F1 Seeds

Bring a burst of fiery colour to borders with the Thompson and Morgan Sunflower Helios Flame F1 Seeds. They have tall stems and striking bi-colour blooms, each flower glowing golden with a mahogany ring at the centre. You'll find these sunflowers not only add height and drama to your garden but also attract pollinators, making them a vibrant choice for wildlife-friendly spaces. The sturdy stems support large flowers that are perfect for cutting, while the seeds offer a tasty, healthy snack when toasted. Direct-sow sunflower seeds outdoors where they are to grow from April to May. Choose a position in full sun on well-drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow seeds thinly, at a depth of one centimetre in drills spaced 45cm apart and cover seed with its own depth of soil to exclude light. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods. Germination usually takes up to 21 days. When sunflower seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out to 30cm apart. Product specifications: Position: Full Sun.
