Bring vibrant charm to your garden with the Thompson and Morgan Salad Leaves Rocket Astra Seeds. It lets you enjoy fresh peppery salad leaves in just 21 days, offering a vibrant crop that thrives year-round, whether outdoors or under glass. You'll love the finely cut leaves for their classic flavour and versatility, perfect for salads or as a spinach alternative. With superb bolting tolerance and easy sowing instructions, growing rocket couldn't be simpler, making it an ideal choice for any home gardener seeking a steady supply of greens. Direct sow rocket seeds from April to September outdoors or October to March under glass, into well-prepared, moist, well-drained soil in sun or semi shade. Sow seeds thinly at a depth of one centimetre in drills 45cm apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. When large enough to handle, thin rocket seedlings to 23cm apart, or leave un-thinned and harvest as 'baby salad' leaves or as a 'cut and come again' crop. Sowings made in late summer will continue cropping into winter if protected by cloches, or if sown in frames, under glass, or in pots on the windowsill.
