Bring a burst of lasting summer colour to your garden with Thompson & Morgan Poppy Papaver Rhoeas Supreme Seeds, a sun-loving poppy that delights with double frilly blooms in shades from pink and orange to white and flowers for twice as long as traditional annuals so you'll enjoy vibrant displays all season. Perfect for cottage garden borders and pollinator-friendly spaces, you'll find these hardy annuals easy to grow from seed and a joy to watch as they reach up to 75cm tall with a gentle spread and full growing instructions. How to grow: Direct sow Poppy seeds outdoors where they are to grow in spring or autumn. Choose a position in full sun on fertile, well drained soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow seeds thinly, just below the soil surface. Water the ground regularly, especially during dry periods. Germination usually takes seven to 14 days. When Poppy seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out to 30cm (12") apart. The generous packet includes 300 seeds.
