- Pure white flowers create elegant cascades
- Long trailing stems promote stunning outdoor displays
- Strong growth with regular feeding and watering
Discover the unparalleled beauty and resilience of the Petunia Trailing Surfinia White. Renowned worldwide for its exceptional flower power, weather resistance, and versatile nature, this vigorous variety boasts long trailing stems that can reach up to an impressive 90 cm (35 inches). Perfect for adorning hanging baskets, flower pouches, and containers, this pure white petunia creates a stunning cascade of colour, adding elegance to any outdoor space. Its trumpet-shaped blooms provide a striking contrast against darker-coloured flowers, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a captivating floral display. To cultivate these breathtaking blooms, start by potting up the petunia plants in warm, frost-free conditions, allowing them to establish before transplanting. Encourage bushier growth and more abundant flowering by pinching out the growing tips of each stem. Once the threat of frost has passed, gradually introduce the plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into well-drained soil in full sun. Ensure regular watering and feeding, especially during hot, dry periods, to promote healthy growth and continuous blooming throughout the summer. Do not forget to deadhead the flowers regularly to stimulate further blooms, ensuring a vibrant display all season long. Supplied as 10 plug plants.
