Thompson & Morgan Pennisetum Macrourum Tail Feathers Seeds

Let tall, cat tail-like flower heads sway gracefully in your garden with Thompson & Morgan Pennisetum Macrourum Tail Feathers Seeds, creating a striking display from summer into autumn and adding movement to informal borders or coastal spaces. As a perennial, this clumping grass thrives in full sun and reaches impressive heights, making it a favourite for wildlife-friendly planting schemes, while its drought tolerance means it'll suit a variety of garden conditions. Each packet contains 20 seeds, delivered with growing and care instructions so you can nurture your own ornamental grass borders with ease. How to grow: Sowing time: December to April or June to July. Sow seed on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost and place at a temperature of at 20C (69F). Lightly cover the seed with vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into trays or 7.5cm (3 inch) pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 60cm (24 inch) apart. Product Specifications: Position: Full sun.
