Harvest a taste of paradise with the Thompson & Morgan Pea Oasis Seeds. Recognised with a prestigious RHS AGM for exceptional garden performance, British-bred Pea 'Oasis' is a remarkable variety that produces two pods per node, with each pod containing 8 to 9 succulent, dark green peas. This maincrop variety delivers high yields of quality peas and demonstrates resistance to pea wilt and downy mildew. Sow peas directly outdoors from March to June once the soil is adequately warmed. In milder regions, some hardy varieties can be sown in late autumn for winter growth. Select a weed-free location on moist, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun, and sow the seeds in flat-bottomed drills 5cm apart and at a depth of 4cm, allowing for 75cm between rows. For a continuous harvest, sow peas every 10 days. Each packet contains approximately 200 seeds, and the harvest period extends from June to September.
