Passiflora violacea 'Lavender Lady' is a vigorous evergreen climber with stunning pale violet flowers that are larger than most other Passion Flowers. Grow in large containers on the patio, trained up an obelisk, so that it can be moved indoors to a greenhouse or conservatory over the winter. Height: 8m. Spread: 2m. Plant Passion flower plants into any moist, well-drained soil. Choose a sunny position that is protected from cold winds in winter. Prior to planting, add plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the soil. When growing passion flowers, be sure to provide the twining stems with appropriate support such as trellis or wires attached to fences and pergolas. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. In autumn, apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the plant.
