Pachira Aquatica Tree is a quick-growing indoor tree with large palmate leaves that are divided into five glossy leaflets that form an attractive crown of foliage above a woody, plaited stem. This houseplant is easy to grow despite its exotic look. For best results, grow in a warm, bright position, although it prefers to be protected from strong, direct sunlight. A great houseplant to have to create a beautiful focal point in any conservatory or a bright room at home. This Variety can cope well under fluorescent lights, making it ideal for an office. Grow in a bright or lightly shaded spot, away from the scorch of hot, direct sunlight. Pachira aquatica requires average temperatures of 16-24 °C (60-75°F) to thrive, but will tolerate occasional periods down to a minimum of 12 °C (53°F). Avoid positions next to radiators or cold draughts. Feed and water Pachira regularly from March to September while plants are in active growth. Always allow the pot to drain thoroughly after watering. Pachira appreciates a humid atmosphere - stand it on a tray filled with pebbles and water.
