Thompson & Morgan Oenothera Versicolor Sunset Boulevard Seeds

Bring a glowing sunset to your garden with Thompson & Morgan Oenothera Versicolor Sunset Boulevard Seeds, where blooms shift from apricot to crimson red creating a dazzling display from summer to autumn. Upright spikes of large, cup-shaped flowers open in daylight, offering a burst of fiery colour that thrives in cottage gardens, coastal spaces, dry gardens and rockeries. Drought tolerant and easy to grow, you'll find these seeds attract pollinators and self-seed for ongoing vibrancy, while care instructions ensure success even for new gardeners. How to grow: Sow from late winter to mid spring on the surface of a good seed compost just covering the seed with a thin layer of compost or vermiculite. Germination takes 14- 21 days at 10-15C (50-60F). Don't exclude light, sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings to boxes or 7.5cm (3 inch) pots, and grow on in cooler conditions. When well grown gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out in late spring after all risk of frost has passed, 30cm (12 inch) apart in full sun and ordinary well drained soil.
