It has a hardy blend that thrives in sun or shade and delights with candelabra-like whorls of flowers and aromatic foliage. The plant also attracts pollinators while coping well with all soil types, even damp spots, making it an easy and rewarding choice for any gardener as it grows up to 90cm high and spreads to 45cm. Supplied as a packet of 80 seeds, you'll enjoy guidance for sowing and care, ensuring your cottage garden or border flourishes with long-lasting blooms. How to grow: Sow on the surface of a good free draining compost from late winter to spring. Make sure the compost is moist but not wet and seal in a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 10-30 days at 20-25C (70-75F). Reducing the soil temperature at night aids germination. Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Later plant out 30cm (12in) apart into a rich, moist, yet well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Cut back hard in the autumn. The generous packet includes 80 seeds.
