These Tillandsia are epiphytic plants which do not require compost to grow. They can be wired or glued onto a suitable support, such as wood or an attractive shell. Position airplants in bright, filtered light with good air circulation, at a minimum temperature of 5 degrees Celsius. Water frequently from spring to autumn by immersing the entire plant in rainwater or misting thoroughly. Allow the plant to completely drain and dry after each watering.
