Thompson and Morgan Llex Holly Verticillata Jingle Bells Plant Pot 2L

Bring your winter garden to life with Ilex verticillata ‘Jingle Bells’ – a deciduous holly that transforms into a dazzling spectacle of scarlet berries when most plants are dormant. While its summer foliage is bright green and pleasantly understated, this female variety truly shines in late autumn and winter. After the golden leaves drop, the bare branches remain heavily adorned with vivid red berries that last for months, providing both visual impact and essential food for birds. Perfect for borders and mixed shrub plantings in neutral to acidic soil, ‘Jingle Bells’ offers year-round interest with minimal maintenance. In spring, delicate white flowers attract pollinators, followed by a brilliant autumn display. The ornamental berries are also ideal for cutting and using in festive indoor arrangements. For successful berry production, a compatible male pollinator must be nearby. This hardy, structural shrub adds reliable seasonal colour and wildlife value to gardens. How to Grow Instructions: Light: Prefers full sun or partial shade. Temperature: Fully hardy in conditions. Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season. Feeding: Feed container plants monthly in spring and summer. Humidity: No special humidity needs; thrives in outdoor environments.
